Invitation to the Central Park Art Walk
The Rotary Club of Cape Charles will present the First Annual Central Park ArtWalk on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, 2024 as a keystone event of our 100th Anniversary of Service. The ArtWalk will be held in Cape Charles Central Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The daylong celebration will be located in the heart of Cape Charles. Some of the other events at this year’s events include a small town golf cart parade, and food vendors.
The Rotary Club of Cape Charles 100th Anniversary committee extends an invitation to all artists on the Eastern Shore and beyond to participate in the “Central Park ArtWalk. ” This is a judged event with cash awards for artistic merit. A regionally recognized arts professional will judge the show and select one award winner in each of two categories: 2-D art and 3-D art.
The hours of the “Central Park ArtWalk” are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. The fee to participate in the event is $50. As an incentive to register early, artists and crafters who register before February 1, 2024 will be included in our advertising campaign.
We anticipate a large turnout for this event and are arranging an impressive collection of artists. We feel that you would be a positive addition and invite you to complete the registration form to reserve your space in the “Central Park ArtWalk”.
